If I decide to be a leader, I will be a leader without titles. I will do nothing in vain conceit.
I will not join any religious organization that thinks it is better than Jesus Christ. If you cannot worship as been untied in Christ, how do you worship?
If a brother or sister believes in Christ but fellowships on a different day is He or She out of the body of Christ? Certainly not.
Do we live in the spirit one day out of the week? If so you are not following Christ correctly and you are not resting. To rest is to imitate Christ's Love by believing and following him.
Does my Lord Jesus Christ show mercy only one day out of the week? certainly not.
It is written in Lamentations 3:22-23
22 It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
Just because I wear a shirt or tie am I better than my brother who does not wear a shirt or tie, who also believes in the faith of Christ? Of course not.
If I wear a hoodie and tennis shoes and I also believe in the faith of Christ, and dont wear a shirt or tie does God separate his love from me? Certainly Not.
If I have no money to put in church does God kick me out of the church? Certainly Not.
If I sing and praise God and give testimonies and words of encouragement and correct myself with sound learning and teaching from the bible with musical instruments does that defile me? Before you answer read this.
It is written in Mark 7:1-15
7 The Pharisees and some of the teachers of the law who had come from Jerusalem gathered around Jesus 2 and saw some of his disciples eating food with hands that were defiled, that is, unwashed.
3 (The Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, holding to the tradition of the elders.
4 When they come from the marketplace they do not eat unless they wash. And they observe many other traditions, such as the washing of cups, pitchers and kettles.)
5 So the Pharisees and teachers of the law asked Jesus, “Why don’t your disciples live according to the tradition of the elders instead of eating their food with defiled hands?”
6 He replied, “Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written:
“‘These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
7 They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.’
8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.”
9 And he continued, “You have a fine way of setting aside the commands of God in order to observe your own traditions!
10 For Moses said, ‘Honor your father and mother,’ and, ‘Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.’
11 But you say that if anyone declares that what might have been used to help their father or mother is Corban (that is, devoted to God)—
12 then you no longer let them do anything for their father or mother.
13 Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”
14 Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand this.
15 Nothing outside a person can defile them by going into them. Rather, it is what comes out of a person that defiles them.”
Now Be Imitators of Christ's Humility
It is written in Philippians 2:1-12
Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind.
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, 4 not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.
5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; 7 rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
8 And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross!
9 Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
