For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:20
It's easy to throw rocks, but where is the love? Where is the forgiveness?
Don't be blinded by your hatred. What do I mean by that? Revenge, Revenge is not love.
But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners." MATTHEW 9:13
There is no love without forgiveness. This is why Jesus came to fulfill the law. Because the law of sin equals death, But the Lord took our place. So we received life in Jesus Christ whom God the Father raised from the dead and gave life to us through Christ. Forgiveness of sin for us all, because we have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.
There is no love in resentfulness:
There is no love in resentfulness: There is love in mercy.
Resentful - feeling or expressing bitterness or indignation at having been treated unfairly.
So there is no love in resentfulness:
For God is the creation of everything, For God is the creation of every human being.
God loves every human being the same. For Christ is all things, meaning Christ the Lord is everything. Everything belongs to him. He paid the price for everyone.
Read this Colossians 3: 11
where there is no Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian Scythian, slave, free, but Christ is all things and in all persons.
Matthew 6:14-15 For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
So there is no love in resentfulness, There is no revenge in our DNA.
It is written Matthew 6:14-15 says Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, "Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?" Jesus answered, "I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.
The Lord did not say to be resentful. He said for you to forgive your brother or your sister.
Matthew 5:43-48 says Jesus tells us "You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your people, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
1 Peter 3:9-18 says Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing.
For, "Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil
and their lips from deceitful speech. They must turn from evil and do good;
they must seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous
and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil." Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good?
My Lord says. But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. "Do not fear their threat]; do not be frightened." But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to answer everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. For it is better, if it is God's will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive in the Spirit.
Love does not count any wrongdoing. But love corrects.
Proverbs 3:11-12 says My son, do not despise the Lord's discipline and do not resent his rebuke, because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.
Just because a person treated you unfairly does not mean we react in hate because hate produces hate and love produces love.
Luke 23:34 Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."
There no one on this planet got treated unfairly worse than our Savior, Lord Jesus Christ who did not commit any wrong but forgave his accusers, of what he said. Luke 23:34 Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing."
If Jesus did that cross why can't we do that to each other? Why can't we forgive one another?
Steven who was stoned to death at Sanhedrin In Acts 7:60 Steven fell on his knees and cried out, "Lord, do not hold this sin against them." When he had said this, he fell asleep.
Love does not count any wrongdoing, Love is not resentful.
Who are we to be resentful? God forgave you of your sins why can you forgive others their sins?
For the Lord sees all of us alike. Hebrews 8:12 For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more. For the Lord my God is the high priest.
Love does not count any wrongdoing, Love is not resentful
Psalm 103:12 says as far as the east is from the west, so far has he (Lord) removed our transgressions from us.
Micah 7:19 says, "He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot; and you will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
With Love there is nothing. Without Love, there is no Life. Those who Love the Lord keep his commandments.
Love does not count any wrongdoing, Love is not resentful. Love is an obligation choice.
