Rabbi Tovia Singer - How Can a Serpent Talk in the Garden of Eden?

November 16, 2024 0

Note: What does the bible say in Genesis 3

3 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”

4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

6 When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

8 Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the Lord God as he was walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and they hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden. 9 But the Lord God called to the man, “Where are you?”

10 He answered, “I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid.” 11 And he said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree that I commanded you not to eat from?” 12 The man said, “The woman you put here with me—she gave me some fruit from the tree, and I ate it.” 13 Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?”  The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

14 So the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this,

“Cursed are you above all livestock and all wild animals!

You will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust all the days of your life.

15 And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.”

16 To the woman he said, “I will make your pains in childbearing very severe;

with painful labor you will give birth to children. Your desire will be for your husband,

and he will rule over you.” 17 To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ “Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.

18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”

20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living. 21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them. 22 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”

23 So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. 24 After he drove the man out, he placed on the east side of the Garden of Eden cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.

Saul Biblical Story of Redemption

November 16, 2024 0

It is difficult to overestimate the influence of the apostle Paul. He is known worldwide as one of the greatest Christian missionaries. His inspired writings cover a large portion of the New Testament, and it is safe to say that he remains one of the most-read authors in human history. His abrupt turnaround from a zealous persecutor of Christians to one of Christianity’s greatest proponents surely shaped the history of the early Christian church. But who was Saul of Tarsus before he became the apostle Paul? What do we know about his life before meeting Christ on the Damascus Road?

Saul of Tarsus was born in approximately AD 5 in the city of Tarsus in Cilicia (in modern-day Turkey). He was born to Jewish parents who possessed Roman citizenship, a coveted privilege that their son would also possess. In about AD 10, Saul’s family moved to Jerusalem. Sometime between AD 15—20 Saul began his studies of the Hebrew Scriptures in the city of Jerusalem under Rabbi Gamaliel. It was under Gamaliel that Saul would begin an in-depth study of the Law with the famous rabbi.

There has been some debate over whether Saul was raised in Jerusalem or in his birthplace of Tarsus, but a straightforward reading of his own comments indicates that Jerusalem was his boyhood home (Acts 22:3). We know that Paul’s sister’s son was in Jerusalem after Paul’s conversion (Acts 23:16), which lends weight to the idea that Paul’s entire family had moved to Jerusalem when he was young.

It is quite possible that Saul was present for the trial of Stephen—a trial that resulted in Stephen becoming the first Christian martyr (Acts 7:54–60). The historian Luke tells us that Stephen’s executioners laid their garments at the feet of Saul (Acts 7:58), who was in full approval of the mob’s murderous actions (Acts 8:1). Saul later ravaged the church, entering the homes of believers and committing them to prison. Saul’s anti-Christian zeal motivated him not only to arrest and imprison male Christians (the “ringleaders”) but to lock up female believers as well (Acts 8:3).

Paul’s post-conversion correspondence to various churches reveals even more about his background. In his second letter to the church in Corinth, Paul describes himself as a Hebrew, an Israelite, and a descendant of Abraham (2 Corinthians 11:22). In his letter to the Philippian church, Paul says he was a Pharisee of the tribe of Benjamin (Philippians 3:5).

While on his way to Damascus to arrest and extradite Christians back to Jerusalem, Saul was confronted by the very One whom he was persecuting (Acts 9:3–9; 22:6–11; 26:12–18). What followed was one of the most dramatic conversions in church history. Saul of Tarsus became the apostle Paul, an ardent missionary to an unbelieving world and a fine example of faithful service in the face of fierce persecution (Acts 14:19; 16:22–24; 2 Corinthians 11:25–26). Saul’s education, his background as a Pharisee, his Roman citizenship, and his unflagging zeal all contributed to his success as a missionary, once those credentials and traits had been subjugated to the lordship of Christ.

AI Artificial Intelligence becomes The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil

November 15, 2024 0
Trey Knowles

The battle of your mind is a spiritual battle where the enemy tries to influence your thoughts and actions to keep you from focusing on God's truth. AI Artificial intelligence systems can be the devices of the enemy to influence the ability to control human behavior and anticipate vulnerabilities of that behavior.

The enemy uses data and information systems that play on the mind through thoughts that lead to doubt, fear, and suspicion. These thoughts can become strongholds that give the enemy control over your mind. What happens if AI Artificial intelligence becomes The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?

Note: How to fight back? When you can set your mind on the Holy Spirit, The Holy Spirit will fight your battles. There will be no tug of war or conflict because your mind is set on the spirit of God. The Lord is offering you His power, and His anointings to take into your soul. The Holy Spirit Himself will use the mighty, ultimate power of God for your mind when you yield a clean mind to Him.

There is a way that seems right to human beings but it leads to destruction. The battle for your mind and heart is who will you be obedient to. Who do you allow it to be your God?  The word of God, or

AI Artificial intelligence? Set your mind on the Spirit by Obedience.

AI information can be dangerous for a number of reasons, including:

Bias: AI can be biased if the data used to train it is incomplete or not representative. For example, an algorithm trained only on images of people with blonde hair might not recognize people with brown hair.

Disinformation: AI can be used to spread disinformation and misinformation. AI systems can be convincing because they can interact with humans in a natural way. AI can also generate deepfakes, which are altered images or videos that misrepresent someone.

Interaction issues: AI can cause accidents and injuries if operators don't recognize when to override the system. For example, a driver of a self-driving car might not recognize when to override the system.

Environmental impact: AI can consume a lot of water and electricity. Training ChatGPT-3 used 185,000 liters of water, and each ChatGPT session uses 500 ml.

Legal responsibility: It can be unclear who is responsible when something goes wrong with AI. For example, in the case of a self-driving car accident, it might be the backup driver, the programmer, the company, or the AI itself.

Job displacement: AI could negatively impact jobs and the economy. To mitigate some of these risks, businesses can implement ethical guidelines for the use of AI. These guidelines can address issues like bias, privacy, security, and transparency.

Question yourself will AI Artificial Intelligence become The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil?

Clean Up or Burn Up

November 14, 2024 0

Any person or any nation who teaches you to go against God's word and accept evil behavior has a curse on them. If it is the United States of America cures be on the United States of America. Those who approve of homosexuality and pass marriage laws in their nations deserve death.

Note: For It is written in Romans 1:18-21, The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of people, who suppress the truth by their wickedness, since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them.  For-since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse.

Let anyone who disagrees with what is being said be under a curse.

Note: For it is written in Galatians 1:8, let God's curse fall on anyone, including us or even an angel from heaven, who preaches a different kind of Good News than the one we preached to you.

To every nation and to every tongue, every person. Do not teach and do not accept evil deeds, which are obvious to every human being. Do not be convinced by the youth of this generation, for they are disobedient and know nothing. Do not love your kids more than the Son of Man.

Note: For it is written in Matthew 10:37 Jesus Christ says, Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

To every school teacher in America, to every producer in America that displays, and teaches sin to others, let them be cursed. Those who sit Congress for the counsel of the wicked let them also be cursed.

Note: For it is written in Matthew 5:19, whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Bread And Circuses

November 11, 2024 0

Trey Knowles

America offers bread and circuses in which people become enslaved.
Since the people are into their idols. Let them work, pay them, let them spend their money, and let it go back into the rich man's pockets. For it is the mechanism of America. Keep the population content.

Give them pork to eat. LOL, I am joking. America is a stumbling block. The evil is not in bread and circuses but in the willingness of the people to sell their rights as free men to fill their bellies of excitement that does not glorify God.

1 Corinthians 6:13, Food is for the stomach; and the stomach is for food. This is the sort of statement that a very greedy person might declare. There were some Christians in Corinth who liked their food too much. However, Paul’s real subject here is other kinds of wrong desires. Wrong desires can take control of a person’s life and they can ruin that person’s relationship with God.

Corinthians 6:13 is: ‘What I want is good for me.’ And Paul’s reply seems angry; it means: ‘What you want is wrong, and evil! God will certainly bring about the end of all that you desire!’ In particular, Paul mentions the wrong desire for sex. That is the desire for sex when God’s law does not permit it. Of course, we feel in our bodies a desire for such things, but that feeling is not good. It is not helpful to us. It will not improve our relationship with God. If we give in to that feeling, it will spoil our relationship with God.

We must not just do what we want. We must always ask ourselves what God wants. If we want the wrong things, we must ask God to help us. We need him to change our thoughts and desires so that they are more like his thoughts and desires.

At the end of the verse, Paul offers us a better statement to remember. ‘The body is for the Lord (Christ), and the Lord for the body.’ He means, ‘God knows what is best for us. So we must give ourselves completely to him. And we should use our bodies and do what he considers right and good. We need to guard our hearts not allowing anything that is not like the spirit of God to enter our temple.
